A beautiful graduation ceremony was held for some of our asylum seekers at the Welcome Center. These ESOL students completed 10 weeks of study with Genevieve Halkett, ESOL Instructor from Chemeketa Community College, in her beginner and intermediate English classes. This ceremony acknowledged their hard work and dedication these past 10 weeks. Many of them will also be continuing their English studies at Portland Community College this summer!
