PACKING LIST
We are excited for your participation at Camp Silah! Before packing, please remember to check the weather as our temperatures are typically cooler compared to inland areas. It is advisable to pack layers accordingly. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BEDDING, TOILETRIES OR TOWELS.
This is not an exhaustive list, so make sure to include other items you feel will make your retreat time more comfortable for you.
1. Bedding (sheets, blanket, and pillow)
2. Towels / washcloths (Minimum of 2 towels per child)
3. Toiletries (including soap and shampoo)
4. Medications (including over-the-counter meds)
5. Shower shoes
6. Rain gear (raincoat, waterproof shoes)
7. Sturdy, closed-toed shoes (waterproof if you have them) for hiking
8. Sandals for the beach
9. Layers of clothing (short sleeves, long sleeves, jacket, etc.)
10. Beach towel for beach campfires
11. Flashlight
12. Sunscreen
13. Bring extra clothes
CAMP DRESS CODE
Boys
1. Shirts must be worn at all times (Tank tops are allowed).
2. Shorts should be appropriate - must cover knees when bending.
3. Sleeping in boxer shorts is not permitted, bring pajamas.
4. Clothing should be loose and modest.
5. No clothing that has harsh or offensive language or images.
Girls
1. Clothing should be loose and modest.
2. For ages 11 and up, pants should be to the ankle and preferably loose.
3. Shirts should be at or below mid-thigh.
4. No clothing that has harsh or offensive language or images.
